Measures for Tourists Visiting Macao

Visitors from foreign countries: prohibited from entering Macao (Eligibilities for exemption application)

Visitors from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan

  • Prohibited from entering Macao if they have visited a foreign country 21 days prior to arriving in Macao

  • If they have visited Hong Kong 14 days prior to arriving in Macao, they must hold a certificate of negative result for COVID-19 nucleic acid test performed within the past 24 hours and will need to go to designated places for a 14-day medical observation
  • If they have visited Taiwan 21 days prior to arriving in Macao, they must hold a certificate of negative result for COVID-19 nucleic acid test issued within the past 72 hours and will need to go to designated places for a 21-day medical observation
  • If they have visited Mainland China 14 days prior to arriving in Macao, they must hold a certificate of negative result for COVID-19 nucleic acid test issued within the past 7 days; those who have been to any of the following places within the past 14 days prior to their entry into Macao must undergo medical observation for 14 days at designated places:
    • Anhui Province: Jin'an District or Yu'an District of Lu'an City; Shangpai Town of Feixi County in Hefei City
    • Liaoning Province: Chentun Town or Xiongyue Town of Yingkou City; Yiyuan Residential Complex in Heping District of Shenyang City
