The event aims to showcase Macao's unique charm and diverse appeal as an international tourism destination to the European market, actively tap into the Spanish and broader European source markets, elevate Macao's global profile, and support the its tourism economy.

The booth design embodies the concept of "East-meets-West symbiosis," with clearly delineated zones that include a main stage and performance area, multiple government department exhibition zones, and a rich Chinese cultural experience zone, vividly presenting Macao's multifaceted identity since its handover and its annual calendar of signature events. Featured zones include: Intangible Cultural Heritage – Lion Dance Display Area, Macao Wedding Garments Display Area, Interactive Game Area – From Puerta del Sol to Ruins of St. Paul's, Macao Grand Prix Experience Area, VR Tour of Macao Experience Area, Through these interactive experiences, visitors can immerse themselves in the dual allure of Macao, where Eastern traditions meet contemporary rhythms, further enhancing the city's appeal as a premier travel destination.

Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute, Macao Special Administrative Region

Adopting the red-and-black colour scheme of the logo of Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the booth is designed and constructed in a modern and professional business style. Through multimedia presentations, it showcases Macao's distinctive strengths in investment promotion, MICE and China-PSCs commerce and trade.

Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government

Themed the “Historic Centre of Macao”, the exhibition area of the Cultural Affairs Bureau not only showcases the cultural characteristics of Macao as “a base for exchange and cooperation where Chinese culture is the mainstream and diverse cultures coexist”, but also promotes Macao’s image as a cultural city. It focuses on Macao’s World Heritage sites, allowing visitors to learn about the characteristics of Macao as a city featuring the integration of Chinese and Western cultures and its historical ties. Through online virtual tours of the World Heritage sites and the immersive exhibition “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time - Exhibition of Virtual Reality at the Ruins of St. Paul’s”, the exhibition area provides the audience a diverse visual experience, taking the public on a journey to explore the cultural city of Macao.

Macao Major Sporting events

Featuring the Macau Grand Prix as the core design element, the booth showcases Macao’s signature large-scale sports event. Through photo spots and interactive game installations, visitors can experience firsthand the excitement and glamour of Macao’s world-renowned sports extravaganza.

Economic Development Bureau of Hengqin

Through layered color transitions and a minimalist design, the pavilion creates a rich and dynamic visual atmosphere. A highly recognizable illuminated lightbox forms the "Unlock Hengqin" glowing matrix at the top, complemented by a three-dimensional neon logo on the floor and flowing light strips, creating a vibrant, welcoming, and futuristic visual tone. The backdrop is centered around the Chimelong International Ocean Resort, connecting puzzle-piece style cultural tourism attractions and emerging industrial landscapes to present a panoramic view of Hengqin's dual appeal as a leisure destination and economic powerhouse. The overall design combines visual impact with information delivery, effectively presenting Hengqin's potential as a world-class cultural tourism and economic destination to the Spanish market.

Cantonese Opera Excerpt 《In the Hall of Longevity on the seventh day of the seventh moon》

Cantonese opera is a major operatic form in southern China and a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Combining singing, acting, choreographed combat, and acrobatics, it features elegant lyrics and graceful movements, representing an important aspect of Lingnan and Macao culture.

This performance is presented by members of the Macau Cultural and Arts Association, who have traveled from Macao to Madrid to perform the classic Cantonese Opera Excerpt 《In the Hall of Longevity on the seventh day of the seventh moon》

Synopsis
《In the Hall of Longevity on the seventh day of the seventh moon》 tells the tragic love story of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and his beloved consort Yang Yuhuan. The couple makes a vow under the stars at the Hall of Everlasting Longevity on the night of the Double Seventh Festival, promising to remain together for eternity. However, the emperor's infatuation leads to political turmoil, sparking the An Lushan Rebellion. Ultimately, Yang Yuhuan is forced to take her own life at Mawei Slope, separating the lovers forever. Blending historical events with mythological elements, the opera reflects on the sorrow of a love that transcends life and death while lamenting the downfall of a ruler consumed by passion.

Tai Chi for Wellness – Interactive Performance

Tai Chi is a classic representation of traditional Chinese martial arts and wellness culture, emphasizing the principles of overcoming force with softness, fluid continuity, and graceful, controlled movements. It embodies the Eastern philosophy of "harmony between heaven and humanity." In this performance, a Tai Chi master will first demonstrate a complete classical routine, showcasing the art's rhythm and mastery. The master will then slow down the movements and guide the audience step by step on stage, explaining key techniques and inviting attendees to follow along. Even beginners can easily experience the unique charm of Tai Chi.

A dedicated experience area will be set up below the stage, where visitors are welcome to practice alongside the master, discovering the tranquility and strength of traditional Chinese wellness through each movement.

Chinese Fan Dance × Spanish Flamenco Performance

Chinese fan dance features the long-handled folding fan as its primary prop, with dancers moving in a flowing, graceful, and elegant manner. Through the opening and closing of fans and coordinated movements, it showcases the poetic charm and gentle beauty of Eastern dance. Flamenco, a classic art form from Andalusia, Spain, is known for its vibrant rhythms, powerful footwork, and deep emotional intensity.

This performance, inspired by the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in Macao, masterfully blends these two artistic traditions. The soft elegance of Eastern fan dance and the passionate energy of Spanish footwork come together on the same stage, creating a one-of-a-kind cross-cultural visual and auditory experience that celebrates the unique beauty of both cultures.

Lion Dance

Founded in 1938, Macau Lo Leong Sport General Association actively engagesin social charity, public welfare,and the promotion of Macao tourism. The teamhas excelled in both local and intemnational competions and was honored with the Sports Merit Medal by the Macao Special Administrative Region Governmentin 2015.

Macao Traditional Wedding Garments Display Area

Traditional Chinese wedding garments, are classic attire featuring exquisite embroidery that embodies Eastern elegance and carries auspicious meanings of joy and celebration. Weddings in Macao blend Chinese and Western traditions, with many couples pairing Chinese garments with Western wedding gowns to create a unique bridal aesthetic. This area features three beautifully crafted garments and accessories. Staff will assist with outfit changes and styling, allowing visitors to experience the beauty of traditional Chinese attire. High-quality photos will be taken to capture your moment as a "traditional Chinese couple." After the photo session, visitors may receive a printed photo as a keepsake.

How to Participate:
1) Follow the official Facebook account 「Turismo de Macau」 to qualify for the experience.
2) Staff will assist in selecting a suitable garments style and help with dressing and headpiece styling.
3) Take a commemorative photo at the designated photo spot. Each visitor may experience one outfit.
4) After the photo session, visitor will receive a printed photo on-site to capture this unique experience.

Intangible Cultural Heritage – Lion Dance Display Area

The lion is an auspicious symbol in traditional Chinese culture, and the lion dance is a folk custom passed down through generations. During festive occasions such as the Lunar New Year, traditional festivals, and business openings, lion dances are performed to bring blessings and celebrate joy. This time-honored art form is also an intangible cultural heritage of Macao and an essential element of the city's festive events. This area creates an immersive lion dance setting, featuring lion dance installations, an auspicious drum, and a variety of colorful lion head props. Visitors are invited to experience the charm of Macao's intangible cultural heritage up close and capture photos filled with festive atmosphere.

How to Participate:
1) Take photos freely with the lion dance-themed installations and enjoy the festive photo opportunities.
2) Strike the auspicious drum to experience the joyful atmosphere of traditional celebrations.
3) Wear one of the colorful lion head props for photos and immerse yourself in the fun of the lion dance.
4) The experience is free and open-ended, with no limits on photo-taking or drumming.

Macao Tea House Experience Area

Macao's tea houses originated from the tea-drinking culture of southern China and have evolved with Portuguese influences to create a unique character. They are a classic memory in Macao's streets—not only places to enjoy tea and refreshments but also warm spaces where neighbors gather and chat, bearing witness to the passage of time and the local culture. This area recreates the classic ambiance of a traditional Macao tea house, evoking the warmth of old-time establishments. On the left side, a classic dim sum cart scene is reproduced, allowing visitors to step back into the era of Macao's historic tea houses. In addition to immersive photo opportunities, complimentary traditional Chinese dim sum and sugar paintings will be available at designated times each day, offering a taste of authentic Macao flavors and the charm of traditional Chinese craftsmanship.

About Sugar Painting: Sugar painting is a traditional Chinese folk art that uses melted sugar as ink and a stone slab as paper. Skilled artisans create intricate designs of auspicious animals, flowers, and birds with precise hand movements. The result is a fragrant, delicate treat beloved by all ages.

From Puerta del Sol to Ruins of St. Paul's

This interactive game invites visitors to embark on a journey from Madrid to Macao through the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area using a fun dice-rolling mechanic. Participants can experience the connectivity and integrated charm of the Greater Bay Area in an engaging and immersive way.

The game is designed around the cross-city routes of the Greater Bay Area, allowing visitors to clearly understand the travel path from Madrid to Macao via various cities in the region through a relaxed interactive experience. Participants will gain insight into the region's convenient transportation, rich cultural and tourism resources, and its unique blend of ancient and modern, East and West. Throughout the game, visitors will discover the achievements of cultural and tourism integration in the Greater Bay Area, enjoy the experience of traveling through its diverse cities and landscapes, and feel the vibrant energy of this interconnected region.

How to Play:
1) Choose a route within the Greater Bay Area. Different routes correspond to different board game grids and travel durations to Macao.
2) Step on the sensor button to roll the dice. Accumulate six rolls to advance along the board, encountering special events related to the Greater Bay Area along the way.
3) If you reach Macao within six rolls with the total number of steps matching the designated route, you will receive a souvenir pendant and unlock information about cultural and tourism offerings in the Greater Bay Area.

Macao Grand Prix Museum Experience Zone

The Macao Grand Prix, first held in 1954, is the oldest international motorsport event in Asia and one of the world's premier street circuit races. It is the only event in the world that hosts both car and motorcycle races simultaneously. Held annually in November, it has become an iconic sporting event in Macao. The race takes place on the Guia Circuit, a 6.2-kilometer street circuit built within the city. Featuring elevation changes, winding turns, and narrow sections as tight as 7 meters, it combines high-speed straights with challenging corners. Known as the "Monaco of the East," it is widely recognized as one of the most challenging circuits in the world, having witnessed thrilling performances from countless racing legends.

The Macao Grand Prix Museum, operated by the Macao Government Tourism Office, officially reopened on June 1, 2021. The expanded museum spans four floors, offering visitors knowledge, entertainment, leisure, and learning experiences related to the Macao Grand Prix. The museum features exhibits on early Formula cars and Formula 3 races, along with a highly realistic Formula 3 simulator. This area recreates the classic track scene, allowing visitors to experience the speed and excitement of this iconic Macao event up close and enjoy the thrill of racing on the Guia Circuit.

Embark on an immersive virtual tour of Macao without leaving Madrid! This area uses high-definition VR technology to recreate classic Macao scenes and experiences. Choose from nine featured scenes—from urban rail scenery to the excitement of motorsports, from the charm of historic streets to romantic coastal views—and immerse yourself in the unique allure of Macao.

How to Participate:
1) On-site staff will assist with fitting the VR equipment and provide instructions on how to use it.
2) Freely choose your preferred Macao experience scene and begin your immersive virtual tour.
3) Switch between scenes at any time during the experience and enjoy exploring Macao.
