Traditions, tours, and toe-tapping music: amazing happenings await
There's lots to soak up in June, as the city is awash with events, music, and traditional festivities.
One highlight is the POP MART MACAO CITYWALK (Jun 6th – Sep 21st), where installations from this hugely popular series of collectible figures will be "hidden" throughout the city, turning a casual stroll into a treasure hunt for all ages.
Musical offerings include Disney's "Frozen in Concert" Film with Live Orchestra (Jun 1st). Mid-month brings the Special Concert of Wind Instruments "Whispers of the Wind" (Jun 14th). Fans of international pop won't want to miss the G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN MACAU, presented by Galaxy Macau (Jun 6th-8th), Alan Walker 2025 Live in Macau (Jun 15th) or THE CHAINSMOKERS IN MACAO concert (Jun 28th).
Macao also embraces its cultural roots in June. The Feast of Na Tcha (Jun 7th-13th) and the solemn Procession of St. Anthony (Jun 14th) are glimpses into the city's spiritual heritage, where Eastern and Western influences intertwine.
For an insight into Macao beyond the glitz and glamour, themed walking tours led by local community groups promise fresh perspectives. Highlights include the Macao Full of Fun - Community Tourism Guided Tour (Jun 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th) and Explore Macao Outlying Islands Summer Maritime Tour (Jun 7th-8th, 14th-15th, 21st-22nd and 28th-29th).

If there's one thing that brings the world together, it's food. This July, Macao serves up a banquet for the senses with the International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao 2025 (Jul 11th-20th).
Macao is also tuning up for a month of musical riches. They include the Macao Chinese Orchestra 2024-25 Season Closing Concert "Auspicious Arrival" (Jul 26th), followed by the Macao Orchestra 2024-25 Season Closing Concert "Lio Kuokman and Kun-Woo Paik" (Jul 27th) – a perfect blend of Eastern and Western musical finesse. And don't miss BBC Seven Worlds, One Planet Live in Concert (Jul 12th), for a live-music soundtrack to a memorable film about our natural world.
Starting in July, and powering through to autumn, Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025 (Jul 19th – Oct 12th) is also a must-see: expect a citywide showcase of creative exhibitions, performances, and art installations.
