A specialty deli that gives you a bite of Myanmar

This Southeast Asian deli offers products that blend the characteristics of Yunnan, Myanmar, Thailand and other parts of Southeast Asia. The chef had been cooking in Myanmar’s border region for over 10 years, until he received an invitation to set up a new deli in a characteristic old street of Macao by the owner, Ms. Lei, a Chinese returned from Myanmar, who was looking to bring the most authentic taste to you from miles apart. Ms. Lei thinks that although Myanmar shares the same latitude with Macao, it has more distinguishable seasons, which gives the tamarind grown there a unique aroma. Thus Tamarind Drink has become a must-order entry drink for many visitors to the deli. The combination of its refreshing sweetness and sourness and the snacks full of Southeast Asian flavours is like a Myanmese musical trio played with saung gauk, pat waing and pattala.
