Organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the "2026 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao" is a prominent gastronomic event that brings together cities from the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). Featuring five key highlights — the "International Gastronomy Promenade", "City of Gastronomy Showcase", "International Gastronomy Forum, Macao" and the newly introduced "World Wines Lounge" and "Global Goodies Market" — the fest harmoniously integrates tourism with gastronomy, culture, heritage, and innovation, creating an international culinary celebration. With multiple novel elements, it showcases Macao's flavourful charm from various perspectives, enhancing the city's reputation as a "UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy".

Bringing together twenty-two UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy from across China and around the world, this one-of-a-kind culinary celebration transforms Macao into a vibrant global stage for food and culture. City of Gastronomy Showcase

We are delighted to welcome 25 renowned chefs from UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy for 53 spectacular live cooking demonstrations, where they will share their culinary secrets and celebrate the rich diversity of food cultures from around the globe.

Among them, three inspiring young chefs — two based in Macao and one from South Africa — who have been selected for the Young Chefs Programme (YCP) an initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), will team up to present the creative spirit of young chefs with a vibrant display of next gen culinary imagination, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table.

To make the experience even more immersive, tasting sessions will be offered on-site, allowing the audience to savour the authentic flavours of each city up close. Come, watch, taste and be swept away on a delicious journey across continents!
