Organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the “2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao” is a prominent gastronomic event that brings together cities from the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). Featuring three key programs — the International Gastronomy Promenade, City of Gastronomy Showcase, and International Gastronomy Forum, Macao — the fest harmoniously integrates tourism with gastronomy, culture, heritage, and innovation. This culinary and cultural celebration further brightens Macao’s calling card as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

The cities of Gastronomy in China and overseas showcase their signature dishes on the scale of approx. 100 food stalls. It curates a diverse range of experiences across designated zones, featuring food exhibitions, a lively “Brew & Chill” section, an interactive game area, a cozy dining space, and captivating cultural performances. This immersive cultural culinary journey presents a comprehensive display of the charm of “Creative Cities of Gastronomy”.

The event will showcase over 60 culinary demonstrations by 29 renowned chefs from Creative Cities of Gastronomy around the world. In line with this year’s theme of “Spices and Herbs”, chefs from different regions will skillfully incorporate Macao’s common spices and herbs into their dishes, offering immersive experiences to share culinary skills and knowledge of gastronomic culture. Public is welcome to witness and can enjoy free tasting after the show.

International Gastronomy Forum, Macao

The International Gastronomy Forum, Macao, themed "The Spice of Life: Macao’s Culinary Connections," features two keynote speeches and three panel sessions, delving into the fascinating role of spices and herbs in worldwide cuisines. Representatives, culinary professionals and industry leaders from around 30 Creative Cities of Gastronomy worldwide as well as Mainland’s Creative Cities in other fields and candidate cities, representatives of integrated resort enterprises as well as Culture Cities of East Asia 2025 will gather at the Forum to discover the essence of food cultures while sharing the unique flavors and stories across cultures and geographical distances.
