From packed arenas to centuries-old festivities, July in Macao means a city in full flow – energetic, varied and always offering new ways to experience its delights!
The 3rd Macao International Children's Arts Festival (until Aug 30th) continues a tradition of colourful creativity via a wide range of performances, workshops and exhibitions to engage participants of all ages. Meanwhile, the International Youth Dance Festival 2026 (Jul 18th-23rd) draws young performers from near and far, presenting a rich variety of dance styles and forms of cultural expression.
The Women's Volleyball Nations League – Finals Macao 2026 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group (Jul 22nd-23rd and 25th-26th) is where top national teams – including China's – compete for glory at the Macao East Asian Games Dome.
Events embedded in local tradition also feature in the month's line-up. The Feast of Na Tcha (Jul 2nd) and the Celebrations of Lou Pan (Jul 26th) highlight enduring elements of Chinese heritage, while the Procession of Saint Roque (Jul 12th) reflects the city's distinctive East-meets-West cultural identity.
